If you find yourself wandering through the historic streets of Naples, make sure to carve out some time to visit a culinary gem known as Cala la Pasta. Nestled on Via dei Tribunali, this charming restaurant has quickly become a favorite among both locals and tourists alike. Renowned for its relaxed atmosphere and exceptional offerings, Cala la Pasta serves as an inviting spot for anyone longing for a hearty Italian meal.
At Cala la Pasta, diners are treated to a menu that features an array of pasta dishes crafted from quality ingredients. While some guests have noted that the pasta isn’t strictly homemade, it still delivers a flavor that will keep you coming back for more. One satisfied diner, Ion Mirzac, praises the restaurant’s ability to deliver delicious dishes, emphasizing that it's worth every euro of the affordable price—only €38 for a dinner for two. The option for takeaway is also a boon for those on the go, allowing the enjoyment of delightful meals without the wait.
Among the highlights, the orecchiette with truffle pork sausage stands out. A guest named Ποπη Ελ. Απέργη described it as “AMAZING,” showcasing rich flavors of truffle and succulent pork that left a memorable impression, despite her mixed feelings about the ragu meatballs. Meanwhile, Lana Wurtz was entranced by the eggplant parmigiana, noting its creamy texture complimented the restaurant’s fresh tomato-based sauces perfectly. Portions here are generous, ensuring that diners can enjoy a meal and possibly have enough left for a second round.
Even if truffle isn’t your thing, you can still indulge in the creamy carbonara or the flavorful gnocchi, as noted by patrons like Haroon, who appreciated the balance of flavors without overwhelming creaminess. The cozy vibe at Cala la Pasta makes it a perfect casual dining spot, encouraging unhurried conversations over great food.
With its commendable service and mouthwatering dishes, Cala la Pasta has rightfully earned its place as a must-visit restaurant in Naples. Arrive a bit earlier to dodge the crowds, and you might just find yourself experiencing one of the best casual dining experiences in the heart of this beautiful city. Don't miss out on this culinary treasure—it’s a true testament to the thriving food culture of Naples.

I love the food, even if the pasta is not homemade, it taste really good and I will definitely come here again. Waited outside around 10-15 min. The dinner for 2 cost us 38 euros. Totally recommend the place. You can have take away here and no need to wait in like for take away

I found this place from tiktok recommendations and after seeing the reviews. Food was AMAZING! one of the few if not the only place that you can get fresh pasta in the historic centre of Naples. I got the orecchiette with truffle pork sausage. I love truffle and it didnt get let down! The pork pieces were nice and flavorful (even though im not a big fun of pork) and the truffle was definitely there!!! Huge portion i'd say. I went extra and got the ragu meatballs, they were tender and had a lot of sause but i didn't like them so much, im used to meatballs with herbs and spices, these were toned-down flavour wise. I had to take my left over food take away as I ordered too much. I also got a shot of limoncello, it was super strong and lemony! Hight recommend this place, value for money for sure and super nice dishes! Keep up the good work people!

We were greeted by some sweet waiters and some sumptuous bread. It went perfectly with the tomato based sauces. The eggplant parmigiana is one of the best I've ever had. So rich and creamy, it just melted in my mouth. The pasta serving sizes were also incredible. My friend was able to take left over for two more meals. Three for the price of one! I would highly recommend going a little before lunch to avoid lining up.

I’m not really a truffle person, but I have to say the carbonara pasta here was fantastic. It was creamy without being too heavy, and the flavors were really well balanced. My wife went for the gnocchi, and she loved it — it was super creamy but also had this nice tomatoey flavor that made it really interesting and tasty. You can definitely tell everything is made fresh here, which makes a huge difference. The place has a relaxed, cozy vibe that makes it perfect for a casual meal. If you’re in Naples and craving good handmade pasta, Cala la Pasta is definitely worth checking out!

While visiting Naples with friends, we noticed this restaurant always had a line, so we knew we had to try it. Two days later, we went around opening time (11:15) and luckily there was no queue. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous for the price. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Naples!
